This notice explains how Umhlaba Laboratory & Geotechnical ("we") handles personal information sent to us through this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
When you send a quote request we receive your name, company, phone number, email address, project location and the details you type into the message. We don't use tracking cookies or advertising tools on this website.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you appoint us, carry out and report on the work. We don't sell or share your information for marketing.
Who sees it
Our staff who handle quotes and projects. Your request is delivered to our business email, which is hosted for us by our IT service provider.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry or project, and for any period the law requires for business records.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to us using it. Email admin@umhlabalab.co.za or call 076 582 8684. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
